Berkeley Farmers’ Market Pop-Ups

Since 2025, Sacred & Profane have brought the joy of choral music directly to Berkeley neighborhoods with free performances at the city’s farmers’ markets. These up-close, intimate performances offer a rotating selection from our current season’s repertoire and allow the chorus to interact directly with the Berkeley community.

Meal Delivery

From autumn of 2020 through the organization's final delivery in April 2026, Sacred & Profane members volunteered as drivers for HelpBerkeley.org, delivering meals and groceries to food-insecure neighbors across Berkeley. We were proud to put our voices—and our hands—to work for our community.

Harvey Milk Day

In May 2022, Sacred & Profane joined the community in honoring the life and legacy of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in California. We performed at a commemorative event in the historic Castro district of San Francisco, lending our voices to celebrate his enduring impact on LGBTQ+ rights and the fight for equality.
